NCT ID NCT02879071
First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study follows 1000 adults who had embolization for brain arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) to collect standardized long-term data. Currently, follow-up methods vary widely, so reliable information is scarce. Participants will have angiographic checks to see if the AVM remains blocked. The goal is to improve future care by understanding what happens years after treatment.
