First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study is testing a long stent (a small mesh tube) to treat long blockages in the heart's arteries. The goal is to see if using one long stent is safe and works well for these difficult blockages. About 1,039 adults with coronary artery disease will take part. The main focus is on whether the stent keeps the artery open without causing heart problems or needing another procedure within one year.
