First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study is testing a very long stent (a mesh tube) to treat long blockages in the heart's arteries. About 1,000 people with coronary artery disease will get one long stent instead of multiple shorter ones. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and works well at keeping the artery open after one year.
