AI assistant aims to keep heart surgery patients out of the hospital
NCT ID NCT07521488
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone app powered by artificial intelligence can help adults recover after heart surgery. 500 patients will either use the app plus standard care or standard care alone. The app gives personalized advice on medications, spotting complications early, and cardiac rehab. The goal is to see if it reduces serious heart problems and improves quality of life over one year.
