Scientists test new drug in people with liver damage
NCT ID NCT05919069
Summary
This study tested how a single injection of an experimental drug (AZD2693) is processed by the body in people with different levels of liver problems. Researchers compared 24 people with mild, moderate, or severe liver impairment to 8-12 people with normal liver function. The main goal was to understand if liver damage changes how the drug moves through and leaves the body, which helps determine safe dosing.
