Summary
This study aims to understand how common fatty liver disease is in people living with HIV. Researchers will enroll 1,250 participants to measure liver fat and identify factors that increase risk, such as genetics, diet, and HIV treatment history. The goal is to fill a critical knowledge gap, as previous major studies on this liver condition have excluded people with HIV.
