Major study seeks to uncover hidden liver risk in HIV patients

NCT ID NCT04795219

Summary

This study aims to understand how common fatty liver disease is in people living with HIV. Researchers will enroll 1,250 participants to measure liver fat and collect health information. The goal is to identify risk factors and fill a major knowledge gap, as previous large studies on this liver condition excluded people with HIV.
