Blood test may outshine tumor exam in predicting cancer relapse

Summary
This study looks at whether a simple blood test after surgery for colorectal cancer can better predict if the cancer will come back. About 1,600 patients will give blood samples to check for leftover tumor DNA. If successful, this test could help doctors decide who really needs chemotherapy, avoiding unnecessary side effects for low-risk patients.
