Summary
This study tested two treatments for dark gums (gingival pigmentation) in 26 healthy adults. One group received a diode laser treatment, the other a licorice extract gel applied to the gums. Researchers measured changes in pigmentation and patient satisfaction over 36 weeks to see which approach worked better.
