Summary
This study tested two treatments for dark gums caused by natural pigmentation: a licorice extract gel and a diode laser. Twenty-four healthy adults received one of the treatments, and researchers measured how much the darkness faded over 36 weeks. The goal was to see which option works better for improving gum appearance.
