NCT ID NCT07520266
First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested two different lasers (diode and Er,Cr:YSGG) to remove dark pigmentation from gums in 38 adults. The goal was to see which laser reduces pigment better, causes less pain, heals faster, and has lower chance of the dark spots coming back. Both lasers are safe and effective, but the study helps dentists choose the best option for a brighter smile.
