First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests a 6-week online program called Learning Skills Together (LST) for family caregivers of people with Alzheimer's or related dementias. The program includes weekly Zoom group sessions and a workbook covering topics like communication, medication management, and home safety. Researchers want to see if it boosts caregivers' confidence and reduces depression compared to a healthy-living control group. About 216 caregivers will participate, with surveys taken before, right after, and 3 and 6 months after the program.
