Summary

This study tested whether laughter yoga and sleep hygiene training could help university students with premenstrual syndrome (PMS). 45 female students took part in 4 weekly 45-minute laughter yoga sessions plus sleep hygiene advice. Researchers measured changes in PMS symptoms, stress levels, and sleep quality. The goal was to see if these simple, non-drug approaches could improve well-being.

Active substance
laughter yoga and sleep hygiene training
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a simple, low-cost way for people with PMS to feel better without medication.
What could go wrong
This was a small study (45 participants) with no blinding, so results may not apply widely. The effects might be due to placebo or short-term enthusiasm.
