Laser acupuncture boosts weight loss in menopause, study says
NCT ID NCT07472881
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding low-level laser acupuncture to standard diet and exercise helps obese menopausal women lose more weight and improve body shape. Forty women aged 45-55 with a high BMI or waist-to-hip ratio will receive either lifestyle changes alone or lifestyle changes plus laser acupuncture. The main goal is to see if the laser treatment reduces body fat more effectively.
