Summary
This study looks at how the body makes new sugar from fat and blood molecules in people with and without type 2 diabetes. Researchers will give special tracers to 48 adults aged 40-70 to track which sources contribute most to blood sugar. The goal is to find new targets for diabetes drugs that lower blood sugar more directly.
