Summary

This study looks at how the liver makes new sugar from fat and blood molecules in people with and without type 2 diabetes. Researchers will measure these processes in 48 adults aged 40-70 using special tracer infusions and blood tests. The goal is to find new targets for drugs that lower blood sugar more effectively.
