Engineered immune cells take on advanced cancers in early trial

NCT ID NCT06237881

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 07, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether a new treatment called KSQ-001EX is safe for people with advanced solid tumors like melanoma, lung cancer, or head and neck cancer. The treatment uses a patient's own immune cells (tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes) that are genetically modified to boost their cancer-fighting ability. About 15 participants will be monitored for side effects and safety.
