Summary
This study is testing two different methods for managing pain after total knee replacement surgery. Researchers want to see if using a small, temporary catheter that continuously delivers numbing medicine to the leg for about two days works better than a standard single injection at reducing patients' need for opioid painkillers. They will also track pain levels, recovery speed, and the risk of developing long-term pain for up to six months after surgery.
