Fat vs bone marrow: which cells work better for arthritic knees?
NCT ID NCT06040957
Summary
This study compares two different cell injection treatments for knee osteoarthritis. Researchers want to see whether cells taken from a patient's bone marrow or cells taken from their fat tissue work better at reducing pain and improving knee function. The study involves 204 adults with knee arthritis who haven't gotten enough relief from standard treatments like physical therapy or medications.
