Scientists hunt for blood clues to predict knee replacement need
NCT ID NCT06600958
Summary
This study aims to discover biological markers in blood and joint fluid that can predict how knee osteoarthritis will progress and which patients might eventually need joint replacement. Researchers will follow 300 patients with knee arthritis for up to 10 years, collecting samples and tracking symptoms. The goal is to better understand the disease and identify signs that could help doctors personalize treatments.
