Scientists hunt for clues in knee fluid to predict arthritis progression
NCT ID NCT06600958
Summary
This study aims to find biological markers in blood and knee fluid that can help predict how severe a person's knee osteoarthritis will become and how they might respond to common injections. Researchers will follow 300 patients with knee pain for up to 10 years, collecting fluid samples during routine procedures. The goal is to better understand the disease to guide future, more personalized treatments.
