First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tested whether kinesiology tape (a stretchy, therapeutic tape) applied to the trunk and legs could improve balance, sitting ability, and independence in 30 children with cerebral palsy. Over four weeks, children received the tape alongside their regular therapy. Researchers measured changes in movement, spasticity, and daily function. The goal was to see if this simple, non-invasive tool could help kids move better and feel more stable.
