Can better Doctor-Patient chats boost kidney transplants?

NCT ID NCT06182475

First seen May 15, 2026

Summary

This study explores how Black and Caucasian patients with kidney disease communicate with their transplant doctors during evaluation visits. Researchers will record these conversations and survey patients to find out which communication styles lead to more living donor referrals and transplants. The goal is to use these insights to train doctors, making conversations more effective and fair for all patients.
