National study tracks kidney artery procedure for stubborn high blood pressure
NCT ID NCT02770066
Summary
This study is creating a national Danish registry to track the long-term results of a procedure called renal angioplasty. The procedure widens narrowed arteries to the kidneys in patients with hard-to-control high blood pressure. It will follow 160 patients for up to 5 years to see how well their blood pressure and kidney function are controlled and to monitor for any complications.
