Summary
This study looks at whether a special ketone drink (Kenetik) can help reduce withdrawal symptoms in people with alcohol use disorder during a 5-day detox program. About 50 adults will receive either the ketone drink or a placebo, and researchers will track how much standard withdrawal medication they need. The goal is to see if the drink can make detox more comfortable and reduce reliance on benzodiazepines.
