First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested whether a low-carb, high-fat diet (ketogenic diet) could help control glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. Sixteen adults with the disease followed the diet alongside standard care. Researchers used MRI scans to see if the diet reduced tumor size or slowed growth, and also tracked side effects.
