First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tested whether a strict, low-calorie ketogenic diet could help people with glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. The diet aims to lower blood sugar and raise ketone levels, which may slow tumor growth. Sixteen adults who had already tried standard treatments took part, and researchers used MRI scans to track changes in tumor size.
