Summary
This study looked at whether adding ketamine to general anesthesia could lower the need for morphine and reduce pain after breast cancer surgery. About 230 adults having a mastectomy or lumpectomy took part. The goal was to see if ketamine helps control pain and limits morphine's side effects.
