New drug shows promise in shrinking head and neck tumors before surgery

Summary
This study tests a drug called ivonescimab given before surgery for people with stage II to IV head and neck cancer that can be removed. The drug helps the immune system attack cancer cells. The goal is to see if it can shrink tumors and improve treatment results. About 28 adults with a specific protein marker (PD-L1) will take part.
