NCT ID NCT05368753

Summary

This study aimed to measure the levels of two pain medications in the blood when they are used together during major abdominal surgery. Researchers wanted to understand if combining an epidural pain block with an intravenous (IV) pain medication is safe. They enrolled 51 patients undergoing open abdominal surgery to check the drug concentrations at specific times after administration.
