Summary
This study translated and tested an Italian version of a swallowing assessment tool for people with neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson's and ALS. Swallowing problems (dysphagia) are common and can lead to serious complications like pneumonia. The goal is to provide Italian clinicians with a reliable, standardized way to detect and measure these problems early in 101 patients.
