Knee angle key to better balance? study tests isometric exercises in healthy adults

NCT ID NCT07207135

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looked at how isometric exercises (holding a muscle tight without moving) for the front and back thigh muscles at different knee angles affect balance, body awareness, and daily movements like climbing stairs. Thirty healthy adults aged 20-30 did an 8-week training program. The goal was to find which knee angles work best to improve muscle control, which could help design better rehab programs for injuries.
