First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 5-day intensive exposure therapy works better than the usual 15-week program for adults with PTSD. About 140 participants will be randomly assigned to either the fast or standard treatment. Researchers will measure symptom changes, costs, and therapist experiences to see which approach is more effective and practical.
