First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 5-day intensive therapy for PTSD works as well as the usual 15-week program. About 140 adults with PTSD will be randomly assigned to either the fast or standard treatment. Researchers will measure symptom changes, costs, and therapist experiences to see if the shorter option is effective and practical.
