First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether meal replacements can help low-income adults with obesity, prediabetes, or type 2 diabetes lose weight and lower blood sugar. Twenty participants will follow an intensive nutrition program and be monitored for weight and A1c changes. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and effective for a population that often faces barriers to healthy eating.
