First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether combining traditional Chinese medicine with standard Western treatments can slow the progression of spine damage in people with ankylosing spondylitis, a type of arthritis that causes back pain and stiffness. Researchers will follow 210 adults for up to two years, using MRI scans to measure changes in spinal inflammation. The goal is to see if this integrated approach can better control the disease over time.
