NCT ID NCT07255807
First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study aims to understand why some healthy people develop insulin resistance, a condition that can lead to diabetes. Researchers will ask 80 adults aged 25-55 to either reduce physical activity for 14 days or eat a high-fat diet for 3 days. By comparing before and after tests, they hope to identify different molecular types of insulin resistance and how lifestyle changes affect it.
