First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at why some healthy adults develop insulin resistance, a condition where the body doesn't use insulin well. Researchers will ask 80 participants to either reduce physical activity for 14 days or eat a high-fat diet for 3 days, then measure changes in insulin sensitivity and related molecules. The goal is to find different types of insulin resistance and understand how lifestyle and biology interact.
