First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks back at medical records of 3,000 people with cardiogenic shock, a life-threatening condition where the heart suddenly can't pump enough blood. Researchers want to see if having a special shock team in place since 2017 has improved survival rates. They will also compare different types of heart pumps used to support patients.
