First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks back at medical records of 3,000 people with cardiogenic shock, a life-threatening condition where the heart suddenly can't pump enough blood. Researchers want to see if survival rates improved after a special shock team started working at the hospital in 2017. No new treatments are given; the goal is to learn which care approaches work best.
