Summary
This study looks at infections that happen after surgery to remove esophageal cancer. Researchers will review records of 350 patients who had this surgery in France between 2017 and 2024. The goal is to find out how often infections occur, what causes them, and how they affect recovery, so doctors can better prevent and treat them.
