Scientists map baby brain development in first year

NCT ID NCT05167565

Summary

This study aims to understand how healthy infants' brains and behaviors develop during their first year of life. Researchers will track 80 healthy babies at 3, 6, and 12 months using brain scans, brain wave measurements, and eye-tracking. The goal is to learn how early experiences shape brain development and the growth of motor, social, and thinking skills.
