New program aims to make assisted living more positive for dementia residents

Summary
This study tests a program called FPCI-AL to improve how staff and residents with dementia interact during daily care. About 100 residents aged 55+ with Alzheimer's or related dementias will take part. The goal is to reduce distress and resistance to care, and make care tasks more engaging.
