Summary
This study tests a program called Fostering Positive Care Interactions in Assisted Living (FPCI-AL) to improve how staff interact with residents who have Alzheimer's or related dementias. The goal is to reduce distress and resistance during care, and increase engagement. The study involves 100 residents aged 55 and older living in participating assisted living communities.
