Summary
This study looked at how the pressure used to inflate the lungs during mechanical ventilation affects the right side of the heart in people with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). Researchers measured lung pressure and heart function in 50 adults and children. The goal was to see if high lung pressure leads to heart failure and worse outcomes.
