Lab-Grown immune organoids could unlock secrets of Kids' cancers

NCT ID NCT05890781

First seen Feb 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 07, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study aims to create immune organoids—tiny lab-grown models of the immune system—using cells from children and young adults with brain tumors, kidney tumors, neuroblastoma, or sarcoma. Researchers will mix these organoids with tumor cells to see how they interact. The goal is to better understand these cancers, not to treat them directly. About 108 participants will provide tissue samples for this research.
