Scientists build tiny immune labs to crack pediatric cancer code
NCT ID NCT05890781
Summary
This study aims to create tiny, lab-grown models called 'immune organoids' from the cells of children and young adults with cancer. Researchers will use these models to study how the immune system interacts with tumors like brain cancer, kidney cancer, neuroblastoma, and sarcoma. The goal is to gain new knowledge about these diseases to help develop better future treatments, not to directly treat participants.
