First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at how the immune system might play a role in psychotic symptoms and how well antipsychotic medications work. Researchers will collect blood and spinal fluid from 500 people with psychosis who are starting or changing medication, plus a healthy comparison group. The goal is to find biological markers that could help doctors choose the best treatment and track progress.
