New drug may help patients with hard-to-match kidneys get transplants
NCT ID NCT07379957
First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests imlifidase, a drug that temporarily removes antibodies that make it hard for some patients to receive a kidney transplant. It is for adults who are highly sensitized and have a donor kidney available but a positive crossmatch. The goal is to see if the drug helps more transplants happen and to track long-term kidney function and survival.
