Internet therapy eases trauma and anxiety in refugee youth

Summary

This study tested a culturally adapted online therapy (iCBT) for Arabic-speaking refugee and migrant youth aged 15-29 who had symptoms of anxiety, depression, insomnia, grief, or stress. 125 participants were randomly assigned to receive the therapy or be in a control group. The goal was to see if the therapy could reduce their mental health symptoms.
