Summary
This early-phase study at Mayo Clinic tests whether adding the medication mirtazapine to a low-FODMAP diet works better than diet alone for easing IBS with diarrhea. About 20 adults aged 18-70 with moderate-to-severe symptoms will join. The goal is to see if the combo improves pain, bloating, and stool consistency.
