New surgical flap may shorten hypospadias repair and reduce complications

Summary

This study tests a new surgical technique (urethral plate flap) against the standard method (tunica vaginalis flap) for fixing severe penile curvature in children with hypospadias. About 90 children aged 6 months to 14 years will take part. The goal is to see if the new method works just as well while being faster and safer.
